Narrative study, a qualitative analytic method, was applied to understanding three purposeful participants ‘ life stories, the middle-aged married women physicians. According the related literature, the researcher tended to disclose the process of self-actualization from three aspects: self-knowledge, accommodation experience of self -actualization, and self-evaluation. The common characters of the participants included independence, self-discipline, sense of responsibility, empathy, not caring others’ judgments, curiosity, keep trying, paying much attention to children and family etc. The participants rarely exposed their weakness and negative emotion, which was recognized as destroyed, on the process of accommodation to difficulties. The researcher suggested that women physicians could empower themselves and enhance women’s strength through constituting narrative group or supporting group. More life stories of different specialist and different ages of women physicians could be encounter. 熊曣 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 196 zh-TW
