In this study, a set of cyberbullying behavior survey system was designed to investigate the situation of cyberbullying and cyberbullying in national middle schools, and to identify participants’ roles the cyber bullying through the system. Then watch specific correspondent cyber bullying videos depending on their roles (cyberbullying, cyberbullying victim, non-cyberbullying, non-cyberbullying victim, cyberbullying and cyberbullying victim). The influences of different systems on perceived degrees of cyberbullying will be investigated.
The questionnaire was used as a research tool. A total of 1608 valid questionnaires were collected. The results were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and other statistical methods. The main conclusions of this study are summarized as follows:
First, Verbal/written, Visual/sexual, and social exclusion perspectives among cyberbullying and victimization differed significantly with different gender.
Second, Verbal/written, Visual/sexual, and social exclusion perspectives among cyberbullying and victimization differed significantly with different grades.
Third, Verbal/written, Visual/sexual, and social exclusion perspectives among cyberbullying and victimization differed significantly with different network behaviors especially in "with or without mobile phone", "the length of network using time in non-class time in a week”, “the frequency of chatting with friends on net”, “the frequency of playing online game”, and “the frequency of sending pictures or videos on net”.
Forth, the result shows that the perceived degrees of participants who watch the corresponded videos are higher than those who watch all the videos.
Finally, the relevant recommendations are proposed based on the results.
