Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 歷史與地理學系社會科教學碩士學位班 === 105 === This research aims to investigate the current state of the usage of mobile phones, and the cognition and attitudes of elementary shchool students toward mobile phones usage . The subjects of this study are Happy Elementary school students in Taipei city, and a self-designed questionnaire named ”The Cognition and Attitudes of Elementary School Students toward Mobile Phone usage - A case of Happy Elementary School in Taipei City.” All of the subjects are collected Random sampling in middle and high grade students in Happy elementary school. There are 268 valid questionnaires collected and all the data are analyzed through some statistic methods, such sa descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation Analysis. The results are listed as follows:
1. Happy elementary school students tend to frequency, amusement to use the mobile phones.
2. The functions of mobile phones that most frequently used by students are mainly watching vedio, playing games, followed by listening to music .
3. The students who have the norms for mobile phones at home have the best cognition and attitude toward mobile phone usage.
4. The third graders have the best cognition in code of conduct for using a smart phone.
5. Students who are required to bring a mobile phone with them by their family members have better cognition in code of conduct for using a smart phone than those who spontaneously carry one to school.
6.Students who don't bring a mobile phone to school take more positive attitude toward mobile phone etiquette than those who do.
7. Every day the use of mobile phones within one hour havs the best performance between the cognition and attitude of the elementary school students toward mobile phone usage in Taipei City.
8. Moderate positive correlation has been found between the cognition and attitude of the elementary school students toward mobile phone usage in Taipei city.
Finally, relevant suggestions based on the research results are proposed as references for schools, teachers and future researchers.
