Description
Summary:碩士 === 環球科技大學 === 中小企業經營策略管理研究所 === 105 === This Study is an action research, which is taking quantitative and qualitative researches in parallel, focusing on the children between 3 to 6 years old from the public preschool, Chushang townshop, Nantou County. The research objectives were be observed and be recorded by listening a 15 to 20 minutes story, which was be repeated three times, 5 days a week before nap, 6 weeks constantly. The investigator and well-experienced teachers chose 10 suitable stories in this research; for the purpose of finding the effect of children emotion and attention, and the quality of nap through story-listening before nap. The conclusion of this study is to analyze and to support the qualitative data of children’s backgrounds, which include sleep states back to home and the temperament quantitative scale. Review of study findings: 1. To understand the nap state among 30 children, there are two third of children falling in sleep within 30 minutes, one third of them being awake or falling asleep over 30 minutes. The investigator selected 8 children, who could fall asleep within 30 minutes or totally awake, to measure the difference after story-listening before nap during 6 weeks. 2. After story-listening before nap, 4 children have insignificant improvement; in contrast, 4 children have significant improvement—falling in sleep earlier. According to the result, the investigator supposes that story-listening before nap has positive effect partially; however, it might be part of intervening variable. 3. The emotion after nap depends on the sleep states of each child; in fact, it seems no negative emotion. Children could wake up on time spontaneity; only few children crawl back in bed or space out. Stoy-listening before nap could keep steady of Children emotion indeed. 4. As the attention after nap, 4 children, who have significant improvement, have the positive attention-focusing, in good psychological condition, and stay in position during the class. The other 4 children have no marked difference whether asleep or not; hence, the good quality of nap could affect the attention of children and having positive correlation.
