Description
Summary:碩士 === 環球科技大學 === 觀光與生態旅遊系環境資源管理碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of biodegrable engineering, generated from deep-cut stalks of tea plants, to the improved soil aconditions, and the end result on the tea saplings. With 2%, 4%,6%,8%, of biodegradable, respectively, added to existing standard red soil samples, which was excavated from Village of Zhong-Sun, Ming-Jean Township, Nantou County. The objectives of this research is to study the effects of biodegradable products on evaporation, water usage, moisten, and the stability of soil PH levels, the variation of soil temperature, and the rapidity of tea sapling growth. As for the rapidity of tea sapling growth, the roots for the non-biodegradable additive vs 8% additive are 12cm and 32 cm, respectively. The heights of tea plants grow to 25 cm and 54 cm, and weight from 16 g and 45g over the same study. It is apparent that biodegradable additives has profound effects on the growth of saplings. The conclusion is the 8% biodegradable additive option has the best water-holding effect which increased from 1.4 kg to 3.3 kg. Water usage reduced from 13,500 CC to 4,500 CC, with the same 8% additive option, moisture increased from 2.8% to 7.5%. Stability of soil PH level is reduced from the average of 5.9 to 4.8. On the other hand, there is no noticeable effects, iodegradable added or not, on the soil temperature for the tea plantation. The conclusion for this research is that the biodegradable soil improvements will have effects on evaporation, water usage, moisture, and stability of soil PH levels but not on the soil temperature. The 8% biodegradable additive, thus, is best suited for the growth of tea saplings.
