This paper mainly uses height field to research how the surface of the sand is deformed by object compression.
This paper is aimed at observing the object under two different conditions, static and dynamic, there are different sand shape and weight calculation. To divide the balance mechanism into two stages: preliminary balance and perfect balance. Preliminary balance is to pile up the sand into approximately final result, and the process of convergence in the perfect balance will be more effective. The improvement of balance mechanism is the key point to make the dynamic simulation much smoother.
This paper used WebGL to create a prototype system. It simulated the sand shape was deform by object compression and movement. This system develop a realistic and smooth dynamic simulation.
