Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 藝術與人文教育研究所 === 105 === I have been awarded of excellence teaching award in New Taipei City. However, in my so-called excellent teaching were conflicts between me and my students. In pursuing excellence, I was quite controlling in my teaching. And this led to alienation which frustrated me and my teaching. I become aware that the excellence teaching award tended to recognize “teaching” rather than “learning”. It recognized the teaching ability of a teacher instead of the ability of creating “emotional experience” and “milieu of teaching and learning”through art teaching. The gap of teaching and learning in the past few years had made me question myself:What is the excellence of teaching? I am inspired by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari ’s the concept of “milieu”. Accordingly, I adopt the concept of milieu on my art teaching and propose the term “milieu of teaching and learning”, which embodies the diversities of teaching and learning. In my practice, I designed the curriculum, colorful wetland, in which the teacher endeavored to become a learner instead of the authority of knowledge in the classroom. In doing so, I have become a learning-teacher, embracing different experiences from students and rethinking the differences between “controlling teacher” and “learning-teacher” in my teaching. My researching findings will demonstrate how emotional experiences and milieus of teaching and learning happen naturally when a teacher becomes a learning-teacher in the classroom. Through this research, I expect my teaching would achieve the real excellence.
