碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術學系碩(博)士班 === 105 === Abstract The evolution of modern bourgeois culture brought different changes in families. Also because the development of modern technology, many changes are also caused. Therefore, with the different trends happening at different eras, the image and concept of family is constantly changing. Actually, imaginations like this have been gradually happening. Under the influences of technology, families face many crises. Although changes like these are inevitable, but there is also the need to recognize these problems and to constantly discussing it with others. It is because if there are no discussions on these topics, then the attitude towards these topics will be all different. The main discussion of this creating discourse is through the study in art work context of the different family portraits in the history of art, my series of works “Blind Side” during 2016~2017 and some of my past works. Just like other artists from the past, using the image of family to unfolding the trouble and dispute of the human mind and the social background and contradictions of each era. My main art work context is about reality cognition and my own family life experiences. Discussing the distress and fear, dreams and desire, hurt and remedy between family members. Therefore, this discourse is divided into four chapters: Chapter one: Introduction: Main motive and purpose of work and background study. Chapter two: “Family Ideology”, discussing the family portrait art works and my own family related works under the influence of modern bourgeois culture. Chapter three: “Family Space” discussing the hidden desires and family spaces of modern families. Chapter four: “Blind Side” series, explaining my work process and concept. Discussing the art works of related artists such as Doho Suh, Jaracheff Christo and Haruhiko Kawaguchi...etc.
