I believe that the creation has always been the artist’s own thing. We always have our own attempt, something we want to do, something we want to express and something we want to change. That is the whole reason that we choose, for example, going to politics, or being a teacher. So is an artist, there are always some attempts. Even though the artist did not say anything, from the work or exhibition space, there are some messages whether the artists are conscious or unconscious left behind. Another reason that I emphasized the importance of an artist's life experience comes from my own bias towards art. I always think that a good work is bound to be extracted from the life of an artist, even the sculptures made by the factory consist a spiritual wear and tear during those industrial products selection, placement, and planning. So, at the beginning of each chapter, I would first talk about my life experience of the time. The first chapter emphasized on my generations and deductions of art concepts. The second chapter focuses on the description of my personal artistic methods, I would go on along the time, including the way of my own ‘‘art fieldwork’’. At the end, they would be integrated into the new art concept "Daily Dissolution". The third chapter is the description of the three most important works of my recent work, trying to interpret my practice of art so far. The last chapter discusses on how to face the "reality" after my "art creation". CHANG, NAI-WEN 張乃文 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 59 zh-TW |
