Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 能源與冷凍空調工程系碩士班 === 105 === With expansion of urban population, lands that can be used by people become relatively limited. The demand for transportation is booming. In order to use the land effectively and conveniently, most traffic infrastructure go underground in those metropolitan region, such as rapid transit system, railway transport system, and so forth. While a large volume of trains are approaching underground platform, the mass of passengers flow into the rapid transit stations. Air quality then has become the most important issue for underground rapid transit stations. It is a health matter for all passengers and transportation staffs. In this study, by using the Real-Time instrument in an underground rapid transit station, we collected the particulate matter data for indoor air quality (IAQ). We measured the particulate matter under PM10 and read its figure, controlling and monitoring system, to find out the possible pollution sources indoor. By cleaning air intake, using high efficient particulate filter, starting of air curtain, cleaning air handling unit, and replacing high efficient particulate filter, the PM10 is effectively reduced from 89μg /m3 to 15μg /m3, which complied with the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA’s) standard.
