Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 機電整合研究所 === 105 === About treatment of acute wound and management of chronic wound, the wound area is the main basis for clinician to diagnose the cure. However, the present measuring tools which are used to measure the wound area have the problem with inaccurate, inefficient, unsafe and untraceable.
The main purpose of this study could improve the present measuring tools. The human error and estimated error could be avoided by using predefined APP to measure wound area. Using the combination of handy laser and predefined mobile APP. The process to measurement, capture, storage, calculation and come out the result can be completed within 5 to 10 seconds. The application is more convenience than the present tools. The Novel Design of Portable LASER Measurement system used in this thesis is equipped a ranging sensor with 940 nm wavelength. The benefits of them are no extra accessories, no wound contact, low infected risk and without painful during measuring wound area. Furthermore, it is useful to trace the wound treatment, management, storing all information such a cloud base.
For the distance which is taken by predefined APP, the maximum standard deviation is 0.612 mm only. The measured area is compared to the real area, the maximum standard deviation of error is about 0.85% only. Based on result of the distance and area, the system provides new technical to measure of distance and area. Conclusion: the system what is used in this study can be an accuracy, convenience, non-contact, safe and traceable tool for measuring wound area.
