If the warpage deformation of the fastener is too large after injection molding, it will not be able to assemble. This study is to investigate the warpage deformation of helmet ventilation fastener using Moldex3D R12 software. Using Taguchi Method L8(27) orthogonal array to determine the significant noise factors. Then, combine the inner orthogonal array L18(21×37) and outer orthogonal array L4(23) in main experiment to analyze the warpage deformation in the X-direction and optimize the process parameters. Finally, analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for the significant factors test. To verify the experimental model, this study use the confirm experiment and confidence intervals. Results show the significant factors affect warpage deformation are the melt temperature, the mold temperature, the filling time, the injection pressure, and the packing pressure, respectively. Under 90% confidence levels, the analysis result of ANOVA is the same as that with Taguchi method. The difference between the confirm experiment and the prediction is in the confidence intervals. That is, the experimental model of this study is accurate enough.
