| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 105 === Ever since the launch of smart phone and the progress of mobile network, APP services have grown so much that it changes peoples way of living nowadays. The rising business, Uber, has a great impact on the taxi industry. With the pressure caused by Uber, the taxi industry worldwide is actively looking for an opportunity to transform.
In this thesis we have implemented an APP which has combined a taxi service and a social network. The APP keeps the advantages of using a taxi, such as BEING fast, easy and convenient. However in the meantime, it solves the problem of expensive taxi fares. There are three core functions in our APP, and they are traffic, social networks and communication. In the traffic function we combine a taxi service sub-function and a carpool sub-function together and within the carpool sub-function the user can also help find another user willing to share fares. The social network function provides user the ability to share interesting images and text to another who has a similar interest. Also we implement VoIP so that passengers can communicate with each other with an internet phone.
