Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 105 === This paper focus on research turbo trellis-coded modulation(TTCM).TTCM is a coded modulation system combined with turbo code and trellis-coded modulation.The traditional TTCM system uses the symbol interleaver, but the experimental results show that when the signal during the AWGN and Rayleigh fading channel, the received symbols are weaked due to fading affect,therefore, leads to the decoding performance degradation. In this paper, bit interleaver turbo trellis-coded modulation(BI-TTCM) is proposed to reduce the fading of successive bits in the symbol by the bit interleaver. In the paper, the performance of TTCM and BI-TTCM are compared respectively. In addition to the statistical bit error rate(BER), we also use extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart analysis to verify its decoding performance while observing the decoding trend. The experimental results show that TTCM has better performance for decoding in the AWGN, but BI-TTCM has better performance for decoding after adding fading interference. EXIT Chart analysis result show that the fading decreases performance of decoding for TTCM, but the fading does not much affect the decoding performance for BI-TTCM. This can prove the bit interleaver can reduce the impact of fading on the TTCM system.
