In order to interact with the realistic scenes, the device must use the scene perception technology to obtain the scene information. The current technology is not fast enough to obtain a usable scene model. Virtual reality is also a mature technology in recent years. The price of equipment is relatively cheaper than HoloLens. If we can build a scene close to realistic with virtual reality device and gestures,we can achieve more realistic augmented virtual effects.
We hopes to use simple methods to build realistic scene and use it to experience mixed reality.First we take pictures of the scene then use the mesh texture to build the background and scene objects. After that, user is positioned correctly in the scene through a position locating and calibrating method. Because of the positions of the obstacles in the virtual scene are same as ones in the real, the user can move freely through the obstacles they have seen. We proposed building and calibrating methods that can increase the scope of augmented virtual applications and different experience.
