Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 105 === In this experiment, the 2,2-bipyridine chelating agent with fluorine-containing side-chains was used to synthesize palladium, platinum metal complex. (MX2(4,4’-bis(CH2OCH2Rf)-2,2’-bipyridine and MX2 (5,5’-bis(CH2OCH2Rf)-2,2’-bipyridine, where M=Pt, Pd; X=Cl, Br, I; Rf= (CF2)4Cl). The synthesized ligand and their metal complex have been characterized by IR, NMR, HR-FAB, Single Crystal X-ray diffraction, and Melting point techniques.
Next, We have attempted to prepare crystals through using dual solvent. By studying the single crystal structure of these metal complexes, we can have advanced understanding of the effect of fluorine-containing side-chain on crystal formation, and the weak bonding such as halogen and hydrogen bonding.
Also, these platinum metal complexes were applied to catalyze the hydrosilylation reaction under thermomorphic condition. This reaction-catalyst fulfills the principle of green chemistry, and with its addition nature the hydrosilylation delivers 100% atom economy. A variety of hydrosilanes react with both terminal and internal alkynes to furnish the corresponding vinyl silanes in high yields and short reaction times as well as unique selectivity. The catalyst shows the capable of re-usage for 8 times without loss of activity, and easily recovered and reused in several consecutive cycles.
