First, ODOA and FDA were used to synthesize OF powder, while BDPA and BAPP were used to synthesize BB powder. Polyimide powder were dissolved in NMP and used in dry-wet spinning process, then thermal extension was applied to obtain final fiber product. The basic properties of polyimide were identified by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The characteristics of those two kinds fiber were analyzed and compared by dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) and X - ray diffraction analysis (XRD) We choose the fiber which has linear structure and low three dimensional barriers, because the molecular chain can be easily straightened and dense packed.
