Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 環境工程與管理研究所 === 105 === As the global population continuously increases, it is estimated that the number of population will reach to 9 billion by 2050, which will lead to the accelerated consumption of natural resources and the pressure of depleted resources. The traditional linear economic model which is taking - making - disposal is not sustainable, so the development of circular economy is very important in the future. By document analysis and comparative analysis from European Union, China, and Japan, this study found that the trend of global is moving toward the circular economy. The circular economy can not only be the policy in the countries, but also should be adopted in corporations for their economic strategies. According to the experience of the EU, the companies could increase 3–8 % of the annual iv turnover on average if they adopt circular economy into their policy, such as preventing the waste, extending the lifetime of products through reusing and repairing, recycling the materials, and redesigning the products. The are two extensively used business models in the corporations, one is “ReSOLVE” developed by Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and the other is “Five Circular Business Model” developed by Accenture. However, there would be divergent by using these two business models in one corporation. Therefore, this study compared and analyzed “ReSOLVE” and “Accenture Five Circular Business Model” to get seven new circular business models, and combined the seven models with the Value Hill Business Model to have a “New Value Hill Business Model”. The “New Value Hill Business Model” is insight in three steps of business activities: product designing, product using, and product output, respectively. Through the “New Value Hill Model”, it is easier for corporations to explore their circular business strategies. In order to understand the connection between Taiwanese enterprises and circular economy and assist Taiwanese enterprises to gain their green competitiveness through the action and practice of circular economy, this study suggests the enterprises who want to implement circular economy use the “New Value Hill Business Model” to inspect their own business activities and to understand their opportunities and gaps in the development of circular economy.
