LTE-A and data encryption for online shopping are typical examples. However, the first 9 rounds of AES has been so far solved, meaning AES is no longer safe for data security. Therefore, in this study, we develop a new encryption scheme, named 3D encryption with Dynamically Accumulated Shifting Substitution Encryption (3DDASS) which invokes our newly developed security function, called the Dynamically Accumulated Shifting Substitution (DASS) algorithm, to encrypt plaintext into irreversible ciphertext. The DASS employs three basic operators, including Exclusive-OR (⊕), Binary-Adder (+2) and Rotate-Equivalence operator (⊙R), each of which encrypts/decrypts messages with multiple operands, indicating that a plaintext block is protected by multiple keys to greatly improve its safety degree. Basically, the encryption efficiencies of the three basic operators are extremely high. Also, the security the 3DDASS is not lower than that of the AES. In other words, the DASS has very high efficacy and safety, showing that the 3DDASS is very suitable for being a security mechanism of an LTE-5G environment when this environment is available in 2019. Comparing with the state-of-the-art systems, like 3DESMS, SeFEM and AES, the ranking order of their security levels is 3DDASS > 3DESMS > SeFEM > AES.
