碩士 === 東海大學 === 社會學系 === 105 === This study is starting with the concept research for understanding how does “jealousy” can be one of Sociological knowledge? And how does “jealousy” affect our daily life? Except the discussion of “jealousy” within intimate relationship and psychological field, how could we more understand this concept? And explain by Sociological knowledge? According to the induction of existing studies and social related theories, “jealousy” could be understood as the emotions and feelings between individuals and then became one of factors of social change. Under this background, this study found out the social influence of “jealousy” has been neglected by social science community for a long while, which makes us leave the connection between individuals and groups and has produced many unknowable cruxes in the society, so that it will continue to influence the social events and make it be hard to be understood. Based on above, this study takes the knowledge of sociology to understand “jealousy” and release the restriction from psychology and relationship. In order to make “jealousy” to become a part of sociological knowledge and to be able to gain more social understanding. This study analyzes the network community through “jealousy” in Georg Simmel and discuss how does “jealousy” become one of constituent elements within network community.
