Most of the services are more inclined to alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the alma mater or society, the service can not be implemented in every alumni. The alumni service is inefficiency, resources and value of Alumni can not be obtained and integrated. However, as the smart technology had been used in everywhere even school, university apply smart technology in teaching, learning and administration to make the operation more efficient and let university be more competitive. The purpose of this research is to explore the alumni service in Taiwanese university, and tried to use the smart technique to alumni service and programmed the smart alumni service system to improve the present service situation. The main objectives of this study were as following:(1) to explore the status of alumni service in Taiwanese university. (2) Take the Tunghai university as an example, to plan the prototype of smart alumni service system to help school to be more efficient and to provide services as alumni needs. (3) to survey the alumni for acceptance of smart alumni service system. The findings of this research are as following:(1) Alumni expressed positive attitude towards the acceptance of smart alumni service system and looked forward to development of smart alumni service system in future. (2) Alumni who are over 60 years of age are less receptive to smart alumni service system than those of other ages, and should provide a package for alumni who can’t use smart technique very well during the development stage of system. (3) To apply smart technology to alumni service is the trend and direction in future, it can increase the convenience of service procedure and integrate alumni resources effectively.
