Talking about the hand tools industry, start from the small size as a screwdriver to all kinds of pliers and to high quality of torque wrenches, etc. Every commodity had corresponded to all the leading companies in their own markets. This research will study the market change from DIY to professional field and analysis the process and management on the leading OEM supplier in hand tool industry. This thesis mainly discusses the level of three points. Firstly, defined the resources, capabilities and business model on DIY OEM supplier, and analyzed its ability to maintain and continue in advantage competitive strategy by resource theory. Furthermore defined the resources, capabilities and business model on professional OEM supplier, and analyzed its ability to maintain and continue in advantage competitive strategy by resource theory. Finally, analyzed the business model features, resources on the change from DIY to professional OEM supplier.
