According to statistics, the number of single-parent families increased year by year, and the change of marriage in the first place also led to changes in family life, the burden of life falls on a single parent body, in addition to economic pressure, the parenting, child education and take care of the pressure is also facing many problem. Therefore, the purpose of this research is as follows: One, present the status of care for children of different types of families and demographics. Second, analyze differences between different types of families and children with demographic characteristics.Third, analyze family patterns and demographic factors that affect differences in child care. By "welfare situation and needs of children and youth in Taichung in 2012 Years " survey data, this research provides a detailed analysis of children and juveniles, and present the specific images of children in single-parent families through comparison with parents. Research found: First, children age to take care of the situation the biggest difference between the different factors. Second, the ownership of the family housing can easily lead to children and their main caregivers to take care of the pressure. Third, different family types in the care of the situation there is no significant difference. Fourth, the care of the main caregivers of the children to the education level of education for the most important, even in high school (vocational), the following junior high school education level of the main caregivers.
