Summary: | 碩士 === 東方設計學院 === 文化創意設計研究所 === 105 === With the rapid transition of social civilization and the great development of science and technology there are a lot of creative ideas and new inventions coming to life. But in the social environment in which the Chinese people live, Feng Shai relating to the environment are an important consideration of architectural designs as is the good or bad luck they represent.
In modern life, whether in the home, in an office, commercial space, plant construction, or purchase or lease, the area measurement, regional planning, the size of the doors and windows and even small items of furniture, must take into consideration the size of the item and what the measurement semantically represents. Among them, " Chinese Luban Chi” designed by Luban is an important basis of determining good or bad luck. It is also a measurement that is still broadly popular in the contemporary era. The Feng Shai Theory in the field of Chinese architecture influences the site selection, planning, and design almost everywhere. " Chinese Luban Chi " also represents a shadow.
With the changes to the living environment, people’s knowledge level is improving, with emphasis being placed on science and logic of Western thought, while still under consideration are Feng Shai factors when purchasing houses and the influence of folk customs and traditional cultures, rather than basing decisions solely on functional or economic considerations. Especially in Taiwan, the older generation seems to be more insistent in their attitude toward Feng Shai, and many employees in this field also understand this phenomenon. In particular, when older consumers are building, buying or leasing, Feng Shai awareness or beliefs are important factors and points of reference.
