| Summary: | 碩士 === 基督教台灣浸會神學院 === 基督教神學研究所 === 105 === This paper mainly discusses the content of children’s worship program in Taiwan Baptist Churches. The objective is to research and redesign the proper worship program for contemporary children.
Children’s worship is evolved from children's Sunday school, where its content primarily focuses on teaching the Bible. By understanding of the developments of children's Sunday school and worship program, we found out that both adult and children programs are constantly in the update and adjustment to cope with the changing view of holistic education value from societies. Many churches are undergoing changes from fellowship groups to small groups, which implies that children’s program also can no longer stay the same as what was before. The author expects to enhance the mode of children’s program by this research.
Based on the learning behavior from children's development stages, and the proper needs for churches to update their children's education program, the author develops three examples of children's worship in the main discussion portion of this research. The first two programs are mainly aimed at the general worship content, and through some procedural changes to help children be more focused during worship time. And because of the repetition of these procedures in every week, children will pay more attention to the course contents and activities prepared by teachers. The third example worship program is developed mainly for evangelical friends or new friends to the church. Its content is more lively and vivid compared to the previous two. In this paper, the author attached a detailed teaching method along with some actual photo shots to help clarify the lesson plan for worship program.
