The subjects are military personnel of Armed Forces Reserve Command in Southern Taiwan and its three subordinate units, namely Armed Forces Reserve Command of Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County, and a general survey is conducted to the said subjects. These four units consist of 470 currently serving military personnel. The data is collected by the method of general survey. 170 pre-test questionnaires are distributed, and 161 of them are returned; after eliminating 11 invalid questionnaires, the total of valid questionnaires in 150. The return rate of valid questionnaires is 93%. In the formal survey, 300 questionnaires are distributed, and 266 of them are returned; the return rate is 88.7%. After eliminating invalid questionnaires, 249 are valid, with an 83% of the return rate of valid questionnaires. The relevant research data is then analyzed by the statistics software of SPSS for Windows 12.0 version; the methods for analyzing the data are descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and significant level, etc. The results of this research are as follows: 1. Analysis of leisure participation of military personnel of Armed Forces Reserve Command in Southern Taiwan and its subordinate units (1) Different background variables reach significant level in the dimensions of “mass media,” “cultural activities,” “social activities,” “outdoor recreation,” “hobbies.” (2) Different background variables do not reach significant level in the dimension of “sports activities.” 2. Analysis of stress in the workplace of military personnel of Armed Forces Reserve Command in Southern Taiwan and its subordinate units Different background variables all reach significant level in the dimensions of “family life and work,” “career development,” “role conflict,” “unit currently in service,” “interpersonal relationships,” “workload,” “hours of work.” 3. Analysis of leisure participation and stress in the workplace There is a positive correlation between the overall dimensions of “current condition of leisure participation” and “stress in the workplace” for personnel in the ROC Armed Forces. This indicates that the more the military personnel participate in leisure activities, the higher their stress in the workplace is. It is therefore suggested that the ROC Armed Forces should promote reading activities. In addition, these promotions can be incorporated in academic speeches or educational training for military corps, so that these personnel have the opportunities to participate and enjoy the activities and alleviate their stress in the workplace. Key words: leisure participation, stress in the workplace, personnel in the ROC Armed Forces, Armed Forces Reserve Command Pan, Pao-Shih 潘寶石 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 115 zh-TW |

1. Analysis of leisure participation of military personnel of Armed Forces Reserve Command in Southern Taiwan and its subordinate units
(1) Different background variables reach significant level in the dimensions of “mass media,” “cultural activities,” “social activities,” “outdoor recreation,” “hobbies.”
(2) Different background variables do not reach significant level in the dimension of “sports activities.”

3. Analysis of leisure participation and stress in the workplace
