The relevant research data is then analyzed by the statistics software of SPSS for Windows 12.0 version; the methods for analyzing the data are descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and significant level, etc. The results of this research are as follows:

3. Analysis of leisure participation and stress in the workplace
There is a positive correlation between the overall dimensions of “current condition of leisure participation” and “stress in the workplace” for personnel in the ROC Armed Forces. This indicates that the more the military personnel participate in leisure activities, the higher their stress in the workplace is.
It is therefore suggested that the ROC Armed Forces should promote reading activities. In addition, these promotions can be incorporated in academic speeches or educational training for military corps, so that these personnel have the opportunities to participate and enjoy the activities and alleviate their stress in the workplace.
Key words: leisure participation, stress in the workplace, personnel in the ROC Armed Forces, Armed Forces Reserve Command
