In recent years, food security problems emerge continuously in Taiwan.The outbreak of theamid cooking oilscandal of Ting Shin’saroused an uproaramongpeople, leading toa boycott of the food sale by Ting Shin and Ting Shin group associated companies. Ting Shin not only harmed the health of the people, damaged its own reputation, and also caused serious losses to the people who purchased the stocks associated to Ting Shin business. Food safety concerns were raised internationally due to the scandal, which seriously damaged the reputation of Taiwan.The events show the importance of sustainable development inenterprise.This study attempts to explore the impact of Ting Shin’s oil scandal through the value chain strategy proposed by Porter (1985), to understand the overall value chain strategy through the fuzzy theoryand the point of view from consumer to Ting Shin Groupby questionnaire survey and interviews, and compare the results to the results of Yi-hang Chen (2015). The results show that the value chain integration structure is "strong", the wrong value chain strategy Ting Shin took have a great impact on the confidence to Ting Shin; since consumer consolidation is "strong", a strong consumer rebound and the results of interviews with consumers showed that costumers lost confidence in the core values of Ting Shin group, which are consistent with the concept of the second-hand information and the research of Chen Yi-hang (2015).The influence triggered by the wrong value chainstrategy ofTing Shin leads people boycottthe productsof Wei-Chuan and Lin Fengying milk has been faced operating losses.
