And it will encourage the growth of international economy. The average income has been increasing year by year. There are an abundance of materials in our daily life. The labor force is relatively reduced. Therefore, everyone can do what he/she wants to do in his/her own free time. Our government has a policy about “two days off per week”, so people actively plan and participate “leisure activities”. This study talks about the relationship between leisure activities, leisure attitudes and leisure obstacles. The objects are junior high school students in Kaohsiung City. The background variables are “gender,” “grade,” academic guidance,” “pocket money” and “parents’ occupation”. The population in this study is seventh to ninth graders in junior high school. Sampling method is convenience sampling. One school in each district was selected for questionnaires. Zuoying Junior High School is a representative of urban areas. Tzu Kuan Junior High School is a representative of suburbs. Nanlong Junior High school is a representative of rural areas. There are two hundred and seventy questionnaires, and all questionnaires are valid. Information,There were significant differences in leisure time between the subjects of different grades, Whether the family members of the respondents agree that leisure attitudes, leisure activities, participation and leisure barriers are significantly different. While leisure activities are positively correlated with leisure attitudes, There was significant negative correlation between leisure activities participation and leisure barriers, There was significant positive correlation between leisure attitude and recreational obstacle. The results can be used as a reference for leisure activities for future planning of the junior high school students.
