Teaching by the means of tablet computers and internet is becoming an important trend. The 3rd-grade fraction course is the foundation of the whole fraction concept. This study is focused on advancing struggling learners with remedial teaching via the Junyi Academy Platform. It hopes to strengthen learners’ basic fraction concept and to be the reference for future remedial teaching. This is an action research. Pretest, posttest, video and audio recording in class, teaching descriptive observation journal, worksheet and scale are included in the research data. Based on the related analysis, the results reveal the learning efficiency, learning performance and satisfaction with the Junyi Academy Platform. The results show the teaching clips on the Junyi Academy Platform advanced some struggling 3rd graders’ learning efficiency. Along with the Junyi Academy Platform, remedial teaching promoted learning performance in 3rd-grade fraction course of mathematics.
