碩士 === 世新大學 === 廣播電視電影學研究所(含碩專班) === 105 === “The Net” is a short film about the ever-changing world of the Internet, featuring Zonh-Han, the main character, who was addicted to online games and Internet Café when he studied in senior high school. As becoming an adult, he realized that his daily life and technology around him had changed a lot, making him deeply recall the memory of friendship and online games 10 years ago. Through exploring relevant literature and films, this thesis lays the foundation for the creation of “The Net”. From the origin of the Internet, it leads us to explore the social link between the virtual space and real life, which ingeniously correlate to the film’s plot weaving and narrative strategy. In this thesis, we also discuss about the techniques of filmmaking, analyzes the aesthetics of the film, and makes a comprehensive review of film production.
