Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 106 === The purpose of this study is to understand various aspects of cultural propaganda conducted by Youth Daily News (YDN) of the Ministry of National Defense (MND), including defense education, military art activities, and cultural propaganda, etc. Since April 1st, 2017, the defense and military newspaper has turned to become professional currently two pages and sixteen layouts. During the meantime, accompanying with the policy of smart phones opened to the military, soldiers may download the related APP and read the news through internet. By studying the ways that soldiers read the new type and digital version of military newspapers, the differences among services, units/stations and soldiers’ hierarchy, as well as the past YDN readers’ reading habits, the conducting performance of using internet to broadcast the cultural propaganda could be thus concluded. Based on the above study, the possible suggestions would be raised up to hopefully promote the military cultural propaganda.
There are several suggestions as the following:
1.The YDN has successfully transferred to be the defense and military professional newspaper. They have to develop different readers, and fully promote the “All-out Defense Education”.
2.In order to increase people’s will of joining military, the subject reports could be good for announcing various supporting measures of the recruitments.
