Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 心理碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between military students' style of mocking and military students' perception of pressure at military schools, and to explore the relationship between the style of mocking of military students, with military ambitions as a moderator for mocking style, and perception of pressure. This study uses 500 military students at the Management College and Fu Hsing Kang College of National Defense University as its research participants. The research tools used in this study are the “The Perceived Stress Scale, PSS,” the “PhoPhiKat-TC Scale,” and the “scale of military ambition.” Regarding the research procedures, participants are invited to complete, in order, the Perceived Stress Scale, the PhoPhiKat-TC Scale, and the scale of military ambition. We use SPSS software to conduct data analysis, regression analysis, and to verify research hypotheses. The results of this study show that, after filtering indicative questionnaire items, 462 valid questionnaires were collected. Analytical results find that a gelotophobes is a positive predictor of pressure perception, that the predictive power of gelotophiles was not statistically significant, and that the katagelasticists is a negative predictor of perceived pressure. With regard to the relationship between military ambition as a moderator for PhoPhiKat style and perceived pressure, the interaction between the variables of military ambition and gelotophiles is marginally significant, and a negative predictor of perceived pressure, although other variables did not exhibit statistically significant predictive power. For interaction patterns, considering the subgroup of students with high military ambition levels, gelotophiles was a significant and negative predictor of perceived pressure. For the subgroup with low levels of military ambition, there was no statistically significant predictive power. The results of this study are helpful for understanding the relationship between the PhoPhiKat style of military schools and pressure, in addition to the moderator effect of military ambition, which can inspire practices of adapting to military school pressure.
