Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 德國文化學系 === 105 === Besides the lack of competitiveness, the imbalances between the euro-countries also embody weak points of the economic and financial policy in Europe. The overindebted of the countries in the euro area have been seriously affected. The problems of the states regarding their debts are a result of politics and the economy. Looking at the causes of the euro crisis, it is clear, that there is no common financial policy for the common currency in the euro area in the long term. The debt situation in Greece reached a very serious level in 2009, even more serious than in all other countries in the eurozone. The excessive indebtedness not only displays the economic problems in Greece but also the structural problems of the eurozone. To ensure that Greece does not exit the eurozone, its members, the international monetary fund and the european central bank decided to provide financial assistance. Germany is one of the important actors in this crisis, therefore the opinions of German Parties are especially influential.
