He is known as one of the most famous children's literature writer in Japan. Inspired by the conflict between Kenji Miyazawa and his colleague Gorô Okutera when they taught in the Hanamaki Agricultural School, my thesis started with the proposition that Miyazawa was psychologically impacted by the word choice of Mahyama during their verbal conflict. I became interested to know whether the disputes had made Miyazawa a "self-conscious divergence". I investigated the works written by Kenji Miyazawa in the Hanamaki Agricultural School, finding that the author had been affected by the behavior of others, resulting in "self-consciousness differences" and the experience of injury in five works included <Flandon-nogattuko no Buta>, <Kiiro no Tomato>, <Tsuchigami to kitsune>, <Otsuberu To Zo> and <Neko no jimusho>. So, I listed these five works as the research scope of this study. This study will focus on the tragedy of these fairy tales caused by "self-consciousness differences". Through examining the interaction of protagonist and other debut characters, clarified the relationship between them and solved the reasons and background behind the tragedy. The structure of this study was, examined the interaction of protagonist and other debut characters, clarified the relationship between them and solved the reasons and background behind the tragedy in chapter 2 to chapter 6, and then organized the reasons and background behind the formation of "self-consciousness differences" and elaborated my opinion in chapter 7.
