| Summary: | 碩士 === 實踐大學 === 建築設計學系碩士班 === 105 === The function of Sand-Binding Forest from coastal land in Taiwan, which blocks off Aeolian sand into villages and towns. Today the coastal land use pattern has changed, Sand-Binding Forest area is reducing, losing the function of obstructing Aeolian sand. This paper take Laomei coast in Shimen District, New Taipei City as a site for research and design, try to set up a first line in front of Sand-Binding Forest, stopping the ground transport of sand by wind. This line composed by nets and pillars, and this structure generates a kind of spatial characteristics of shrinkage and expansion between Typhoons and Northeast monsoon come and change.
