Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 105 === This study examines the relation of the school characteristics to the school performance through enrollment rate. The samples of this study are drawn from the prize-won public primary schools, which are awarded by Ministry of Education for implementing space aesthetics and development plan. We utilize the multiple regression method to inspect the impacts of the school characteristics upon school educational performance. The empirical results show that the school performance is positively influenced by being a characteristic school, while other characteristics of the school do not influence the school performance. Besides, the location and size of the characteristic schools has a significant relationship to school performance. According to the results of this study, to be a characteristic school is a viable way to promote enrollment rate to achieve school performance.
