Ji Gong did not leave any Buddhist works, but about his legend and the novels has been circulating in the folk. People discuss Ji Gong enthuseastically. Among many series of novels about Ji Gong, the" Chi Tien Lo Han Ching Tzu Ssu Hsien Sheng Chi " is an outstanding works of narrative art, but still has not seen the books, journals and dissertations to talk about it. In this paper, we talk about the narrative art of " Chi Tien Lo Han Ching Tzu Ssu Hsien Sheng Chi " in the narrative point of view. The beauty of the narrative art is presented by the theme thought, the plot structure and the character analysis. In the theme thought, there are two subjects through the main theme of " Chi Tien Lo Han Ching Tzu Ssu Hsien Sheng Chi "："A mad monk is a really monk "、"save all living out of trouble and bitter". There are" Do not obey the property used "、" Do not persistent reputation and status "、" do not persist in my opinion "and other eleven secondary themes. In the story plot, there are thirty-three basic episodes such as "ask the wine and drinking"、"someone entertain drinking "、"drinking" and "drunk". Besides，link through twenty-four story paragraphs by means of a beaded structure . In the analysis of characters, we can analysis the narrative research of " Chi Tien Lo Han Ching Tzu Ssu Hsien Sheng Chi " from the character classification, character characteristics, and the character shaping . This dissertation also compare the differences between the three novels of "Qian Tang Hu Yin Chi Tien Chan Shi Yu Lu "、" Chi Tien Lo Han Ching Tzu Ssu Hsien Sheng Chi"、"Chi Tien Da Shi Zui Pu Ti Quan Chuan"showing the beauty of narrative art and the reasons why it can not be ignored.
