| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 經濟學系 === 105 === Global warming speeding up is caused by burning of fossil fuel. To research the possible contribution of the renewable energy development to slow down global warming, this study analyzed renewable energy development with the theories related to the model of low carbon economy and the structure of low carbon economy. This study analyzed the policy of low carbon economy and the renewable energy development for Germary, Japan, Taiwan, and China Space. With the econometric methods, this study analyzed the causality between income, fossil fuels, renewable energy, and carbon emissions. Unfortunately, results showed no significant causality between the development of renewable energy and income. This research suggests that following flying geese model to develop renewable energy can be further expected to reach the idea goal low CO2 emissions.
