Summary: | 碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 車輛工程系碩士班 === 105 === This paper presents the wireless communication for elevator system based on ZigBee network topology. The ZigBee module is used to build personal area networks with small, low-power digital radios in order to eliminate the uses of cables, cable trays, cable trenches. The ZigBee wireless mesh network technology is applied for elevator, each wireless node on each floor and the car as the receiver can also be used as the transmitter as well. Like a network, a wireless node can redistribute data generated by the other wireless nodes as a router to a predefined destination. When the data can not directly reach the destination node, the data can hop between the other nodes. Wireless nodes may use redundant communications paths so that can solve any problem if one floor controller is damaged. Moreover, the LabView program is used for remote monitoring and control, when an emergency situation arises, technicians can solve the problem immediately that ensure occupant safety. Hence, the safety of elevator system is increased.
