The exterior wall tile needs to combine a cement mortar layer and structure. The way of tile paste is about the adhesion strength and durability. There are some tile peer off that has happened recently; according Kaohsiung city government counies the buildings which are higher than 6 floor in 2014, 98% of the buildings exterior wall use tile, and 20% of these tile peer off. This study is about the tile of Kaohsiung high-rise buildings on their exterior walls. The reason for the tile's worseing condition, include workers, natura environments, material proportion, and sequence etc; all of which influence the tile durability and validity period limit. Taiwan construction law and building technical regulations do not inflict regular specification to the tile exterior wall. Only Public Construction Commission suggest how to tile paste. For effective tile paste quality control, this study uses different forma of tile paste on exterior wall, observes its interface in the effect of temperature and humidity on cement mortar and tile pull-out tests in a specified time, analyzes stronger adhesion on exterior walls, and compares effectiveness of the way tile pastes use today. The purpose of this study is to explore high-rise building exterior wall tile paste, and the concrete watering and waterproof layer was used as the independent variable to investigate tile pull-out test. After adopts literature reviews and Kaoshiung city's exterior wall tile construction site surves, I made a concrete walls using four construction methods. A is without concrete watering and use waterproof layer, B is without concrete watering and waterproof layer, C is with concrete watering and use a waterproof layer, D is with concrete watering and does not use a waterproof layer. We observed the effect of temperature and humidity on concrete structures, cement mortar, adhesive layers for a month, and did the tile pull-out test on the 25th day. From the temperature data, we have learned every observed level is similar to normal temperature. From the humidity data, we have learned that in methods A and C, which has a waterproof layer, and methoda B and D, which didn't have waterproof layers, that the curve change is very similar, and it developed 2 different but regularly linear changes.From the strength of tile pull-out test, method D is not easy pull-out come used to methods B, C and A. From the experiment we learned that the concrete watering and no waterproof layer can have the most strength pull-out test.
