Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 105 === This study discusses the influences of the amounts and spacing of the bars on the reinforcement corrosion measurements. During the study, cement mortar specimens at water-cement ratio of 0.6 were prepared with different main bar and stirrup locations. The specimens were cured in limewater for 28 days and then immersed in 3.5% salt water and finally subjected to accelerated corrosion. The reinforcement corrosion current density was measured using the galvanostatic technique, linear polarization, and the AC impedance each day. The corrosion rates and amounts of corrosion were calculated and compared with the actual weight losses. Results showed that all the calculated weight loss percentages were lower than the actual weight loss percentages. In the absence of the stirrups, the measurements were close to the weight losses as the actual weight losses were increased. In the presence of double main bars with a large spacing, the measurements were close to those in specimens with single main bar. When the spacing was reduced, the measurements were less accurate.
