Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 105 === This thesis develops the antenna phased arrays operated in the frequency range of 9.3-9.5 GHz for the marine radar application. The slot and patch antennas are treated as the fundamental elements of the phased array antenna. In addition, the metallic corner reflector are designed and put on the specified location to enhance the antenna directivity in the vertical plane. As combined with the 8×8 and 8×16 Butler matrices designed by Mr. Jheng-Yuan Huang, a beam-switched antenna array with 8 different antenna main beams can be achieved. By exciting the different input ports of Butler matrix, one can obtain its corresponding antenna main beam, which is pointing to the specified azimuth angle in the horizontal plane.
