Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 化學工程系 === 105 === In the present study, the total pressure method was used to measure isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for the binary or tenary systems including octenes , water(H2O) , diethylene glycol t-butyl ether (DEGtBE) , diethylene glycol di-t-butyl ether (DEGDtBE) , diethylene glycol(DEG) at 333.2 K , 363.2 K , 393.2 K , 418.2 K. Mole ratios of each system are prepared with 2:8/4:6/6:4/8:2 and each system includes at least 16 data points (T , P , xi)
The vapor pressures of pure components, except for DEG, are measured in this work. The vapor pressures of DEG are calculated from Antonie equation , with the coefficients taken from Aspen Plus V8.6. The NRTL-ideal , UNIQUAC-ideal , NRTL-HOC and UNIQUAC-HOC models are used to correlate the VLE data, respectively , and the optimal values of model parameters for 9 binaries including octenes/DEGtBE , H2O/DEGtBE , DEGtBE/DEGDtBE , DEG/DEGtBE , H2O/DEG , octenes/DEG , octenes/DEGDtBE , DEG/DEGDtBE , H2O/DEGDtBE are determined.
The calculated results agree well with the experimental values, except for DEG/DEGDtBE whose deviations are slightly large.
