Under basic conditions, the epoxide group of glycidyl methacrylate was opened and reacted with deionized water or other monomers that have carboxylic acid by esterification. By varying the number of monomers of the lactic acid oligomer and the proportion of the crosslinker, we used the nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMR), Gel Permeation Chromatography(GPC) and the mass spectroscopy (MASS) to identify the structures of monomers. Then we used TPO as photoinitiator and analyze their properties, such as viscosity, the degree of polymerization, mechanical strength, thermal stability, hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity on the surface, swelling ratio, swelling rate and cytotoxicity by viscometer, FTIR, Universal Testing Machine, TGA, DSC, Contact Angle, swelling test and MTT assay.
