By knowing the requlations, both of them could create their design not only to compliance with the safety requirements but to fulfill the customized needs efficiently and economically. It's an all-win situation for the designers, the customers, and the conformity assessment institutions. Through the data collecting and compaction of the past documentary reviews, based on the laws and regulations, and the Building Fire Evacuation Safety Performance Verification of Technical Manuals, we made a chart to reveal the actual infuences of partition walls to the evacuation distance. We compared the caculationfomular with the data from the passed reviews to find out the difference comparison. The analization shows that the partition walls will cost more evacuation time up to 10%. Overall, using better finishing materials, shortening the walking evacuation distance, and raise the height of the ceiling could improve the level of the fire safety and evacuation in buildings. Through the simple determination of the proportion of the safety slack ratio of the design, it is possible to simplify the application for the use of the license phase to apply for the assessment of the operation process and the reduction of the review meeting to achieve the purpose of saving time and cost.It can reduce the costs 20~94% per case each time.
