Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 105 === The aim of the essay is trying to employ the concept of “ Metaphorical ” on open space. Via the process of literature collection and review, case studies and analysis, design idea, and finally practice in design. The metaphorical approach is mainly inspired by the book “Invisible Cities”. The concept is trying to redefine the form of open space in a metaphorical way. Followed the description as the main design concept, this easy develops three aspects of design key points such as “The openness of space ” , ” permeability ” , ”Democratic (anti-authoritative)” into different design project . Finally, the ideas of the metaphorical method aim at eliminating the traditional hard boundaries, raising openness, visibility and ambiguity of the space.
