And how HIMA Foundation Taiwan can transform to a social enterprise which is combined with commercial and public welfare objectives through social innovation. The transformation of social enterprises is to help HIMA Foundation Taiwan reduce its dependence on external resources. With the increasing emphasis on corporate philanthropy, how HIMA Foundation Taiwan can implement Business Partner Program to agilely do 「Charity」and「Environmental Protection」, and at the same time to help its partners to build the 「Good Brand Image」 through executing 「Corporate Social Responsibility」, building「A Happy Workplace」, emphasizing 「Corporate Integrity」and enhancing 「Cultural Sponsorship」. And how HIMA Foundation Taiwan can influence the society, carry out the public welfare objective of HIMA Foundation Taiwan, and create high social value in return to the public through charity activities. This case is adapted based on Harvard Case Study Method and can be used to discuss the topics such as Social Enterprise, Social Innovation, Business Model, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Charity, Resource Integration, Social Influence, Brand Marketing, NPO (nonprofit organization) and Dominant Logic. The case comprehends how the personal initiative of public welfare activities can find out the practical business model for its sustainable survival and how a nonprofit organization can bring social influence into full play by the partnership with the Corporate through the corporate charity events.
