The research elaborates on the perceptions of the plan from museum, cooperative groups and elders. By analyzing the implementation of the plan from different aspects include the relationship between museum and community, the position of museum itself and the current status of community art education, future planning about art education event for community elderlies is promoted. This research applies case study, literature review, semi-structured interview and target group interview to summarize the suggestions on art educational events that are oriented to community elderlies. The findings are listed below. 1、The image of the museum is critical factor influencing the preference and intention of community elderlies to participate in the event. Transforming the stereotype of museum and art would attract more community elderlies. In respect of art education, the Museum has reduced the gap between community and art by providing innovational topic, amplifying the interestingness instead of knowledge learning alone. 2、As for the cooperative groups, local identity and characteristics are the major components to increase the level of collaboration. Thus, the event has to involve community culture and related social issues. Both local community and elderly participants agree that the Artscape Beitou Plan is helpful to break the conventional image of Museum and integrate with the community. It enhanced the interpersonal relationship of local residents and transformed the original academic impact of the Museum successfully. Overall speaking, the aim of the Museum to integrate with the community has been primarily achieved and art educational events has met the expectations from the community. 3、The major difference between the Plan of the Museum and the art educational events is the core value of Museum. This core value with spatial strength professionalism of art increases aesthetic and life quality, expands different alternatives for elderlies to engage with art.
