This paper will focus on "Kiss Me Kate" play in Victoria Palace This paper will focus on "Kiss Me Kate" play in Victoria Palace Theatre at London on August, 2002 as the research object. Analyze the "Kiss Me Kate" meta-element. Explore further within the play uses the Meta characteristics and how it affects the play. The play itself reflects the real life like social phenomena also enrich the performance. The paper reveal on Richard Hornby's meta theater theory .It has five types of post-effects, including " The Play within the Play ", " The Ceremony within the Play ", " Role Playing within the Role ","literature and Real-Life Reference within the play "," Self-Reference ", to review the" Kiss Me Kate " and examine the uses and method of meta theater.
